I don't think he understands the concept of having a friend. Chilling out as a phantom while exploring the open world with a friend is a pretty ok "hang out" activity for a voip call.
Dude, shutup. Co-op is actually HARDER IMO because you can't summon OP jellyfish or the trash nobles to be your bullet shield. Also other players are less predictable so you often lose battle flow vs predictable bot/ash summons, and there's the lag factor too which makes hits all whack.
Just shutup and stop putting down other people because you think you're some solo god, when in fact solo is EASY MODE, you pleb.
Anyway....
Yes, YES please, and also Horse combat in PvP (can you update your title to say multiplayer instead of just co-op plz?). I absolutely love the variety of tactics we have available to us in Elden Ring, and the horse is very well balanced - makes some enemies easier but others very hard. E.g. when I fight those horseback bots I often just spam jump attack, because those guys are actually pretty darn good with predicting/building up attack sometimes.
Also towards late game summons are just terrible 1v1 melania is super easy but when you summon she feels like shes got 3x the health
Ok fair enough lol but I meant playing as a new player with a friend who doesn't already know the META nor have minmax'd characters, which is what I thought the OP meant. Co-op is pretty balanced IMO because it prevents you from using ash summons which are pretty damn good for drawing aggro and that's like the main thing for my play style. I guess everyone has their own idea of what is difficult or not.
But now the OP said they are level 160 anyway lol so the noob claim was a stupid assumption anyway, rendering this whole argument moot, so who cares lol.
I personally love this game co-op... but no mount is highly annoying in places.
I can see the issues you can't brush off with "LOL git gud horses OP", because there are lots of sections of the game that expect you to do horse platforming or jump pads to get through or up and down without fast travel.
Or, you know. cliche poison swamps. Where all complaints about them are met with "LOL you don't get poisoned if on horse LOL" and heeeey, guess what...
