I have the Feburary 14th (latest build) Nvidia drivers installed. Not sure if there's a net set today. Doesn't seem to show.
I was making a joke, not trying to be literal. Sorry, it's hard to convey that stuff across the internet, sometimes. :)
Oh lol. Poe's law.
you shouldn't summon other players for the fight. not only does it make you unable to mount (which is required for the fight) but it also increases his health by a ton which makes the fight worse.
>Boss is visibly apart from horse while still riding, but hitbox is unchanged.
i noticed that myself but i'm really not sure how much of it is a bug and how much if it is lore related. he learned gravity magic in order to keep riding his horse so it's hard to say if it's because he's only magically mounted he moves weird or what.
>NPC summons show only shaft of light, do not show summon sign randomly
i think this is an issue with culling more than anything else but in my experience i was still able to summon without the sign visible by mashing Y
>Purple projective attack will randomly become undodgeable on horse
i found it easier to dodge on the ground by rolling instead of trying to use the mount. honestly the mount is pretty terrible, the controls are unresponsive a lot of times and trying to get any exact degree of movement is a nightmare and this fight lays out all the flaws of the system bare.
i 100% agree this fight is terrible. just keep summoning. when you start to see your allies go down, rush to go resummon. it's entirely RNG based and no amount of skill helps which is frankly bizarre to see in a From game.
1. He doesn't defend himself while he's staggered, which last a while.
2. Once the staggered animation is over, he will start to prepare for his second phase which means he won't fight back through this animation.
3. Once he falls back down from the sky, he will go into a self-buff animation where he will also not fight back.
Throughout the entire time this is happening he isn't fighting and you and your crew can wail at him all you want. That's like 15 seconds of free hits. I think he does one weak AOE during this time. You can dodge through it or ignore and let it hit you. Whatever you prefer.
I'd be more than happy to try and help you with the fight if you like? Though in truth, I quiver at the thought, such is his frightful repute.
Considering the post is five months old, he's either figured it out or slunk away in shame by now.
