Should I be using Rune Arcs?

I don't know what they do tbh. I'm only at the start of the game, level 18, killed the two first main bosses.

Usually I just save items in RPGs thinking I will need them in the future and then I end up beating the game without using them ;_; pls help

Then yes lol, they arent hard to get anyway, both invading and coop get you them.

I haven’t used one either. I only have 1 broken rune and one rune from second boss for rebirth. Doesn’t seem very useful by description

Rune arcs are given when you play in coop and beat the boss of the area, its sold in stores and can be found all over the map.

In order to use them you would need one of those Runes from the lords, bring it to a place to be able to equip it and then you can use the Rune arcs.

only use rune arcs after u get a great rune AND THEN activate that great rune.

rune arcs let u use great rune abilities.

thats all i can say wit no spoilers. if u dont got a great rune, dont use rune arcs. save em.

Go activate the rune you got from Godrick. Rune arcs act like humanity from previous games. Only useable for that life, but they are like super buffs.

What was really disappointing, learning the buff only lasts until Death... this is one thing i think is pretty crap because i will now basically never use them.

They can be incredibly useful with certain runes. Godricks rune will increase most of your stats by around 4, i think. I've got around 40 rune arc and only really use them on bosses or areas that give me problems.

The divine tower to the east of stormveil castle. Go back to Godricks boss room and backtrack. There is a path that leads to the bridge that is on the east side of the castle. You can restore the great rune there. After it is restored, you can equip it at sites of grace.

Rune arcs when you don't have a greater rune just give you like 15% or so more hp. Which is better than a later great rune. That said use them when you feel like you're going into a tough area or a boss fight. Just use things the consumables that's what they're for and rune arcs last forever in theory so yeah.
