Big words for someone who doesn't know what "effectively" means
You're looking for the word "efficiently"
You can already disable it with a single dll file. Whether or not that lets people do things like fly around and casting lightning on everyone like theyre Thor, who knows. But itll definitely let people use cheat engine to spawn in every item for themselves. Which frankly im okay with because after hundreds of hours crafting new builds, it gets tiring as ♥♥♥♥ to play through the game every time.
If you disable it you can't connect to the matchmaking servers, though
As was said, when you disable the anti-cheat you can't connect to others. There's always going to be ways around anti-cheat no matter what kind they use. It's just like how there's no point using DRM really because pirates will always find a way. All you can really do is deter or slow the progress.
Fromsoft is worth over $54.2 million atm
Could have done a better job with the matchmaking at least. See no difference at all from Ds1 og release, when it comes to coop/pvp latency.
Ah.. you're one of those.. The "this company has X money! They can do anything!" mentality is just so stupid.. You understand absolutely nothing about development, server costs, and apparently business, but you seem to think you have the intelligence to tell them how they should do things..
As for co-op/pvp latency.. what latency? I haven't seen any issues. You seem to be literally the only person I've seen having issues with latency. There have been connection issues, but that's entirely different and to be expected on new release. You sure the latency isn't a local issue? Then again, given your previous mentality, I assume you think nothing is ever your fault it's always someone else's.
