Stonesword key not working

when i try to use it it says: "not enough Stonesword key"
please help

There are some statues that require 2 keys to open.. therefore, you are short a key.

2 gargoyles = 2 keys needed.

There's always 2 statues on the unlock point, the difference between how many keys are needed is in how they appear. If you need 2 then both heads will be empty. If you need only 1 then the bottom head will have a stone sword already in it. The first one you come across right after the tutorial dungeon requires 2 to open.

There should always be two gargoyles on those statues. but if you look closely, you can tell if it needs 1 or 2 keys to open it. just check the heads of the statue and if there is already 1 dagger in them, then it only needs 1 key. if it has none then you know it needs 2
