How do you remove Ashes of War from a weapon?
I want to remove a weapon's AoW and set it back to its original power. I've read guides that say you can do this at any site of grace, but I don't see the option anywhere. I can only replace it with something else. Am I just blind or something?

Select the same weapon and ash again, and there should be an option to remove it.

It doesn't work. For example I got the turtle shield, whose initial power was something like "strengthen shield" (I forget the exact name). I replaced it with "no skill" because I wanted to use my weapon's AoW. But now I can no longer remove the "no skill" enhancement, nor replace it with its original skill, because that one no longer appears in my inventory. Is there no "remove AoW" option?

Select the ash you're using on the weapon, then select 'undo enhancement'

Go to grace, select shield, undo enchantment...

Ok, I got it to work. I selected another shield and applied the "no skill" ash to it, which removed it from the turtle shell and reverted it to its original power. Still feels silly that there isn't a simple "remove enchantment" option.

I didn't see that option anywhere.

Either I'm completely blind, or that option does not exist in my game.

Try going to the blacksmith in the round table if you select the shield there should be an option to remove/replace the AoW

There IS though. Did you try to select a different ash than the 'no skill' one to undo the enchantment?

Ok, I finally got it. You have to select the item and click on the ash that it currently has applied, then it gives you the option to remove it. Feels a bit convoluted but at least it works. Cheers.
