Chelona's Rise Turtles gone bug?
I died while killing the second turtle for the seal (fall damage) and now the door is locked the turtles are gone (I know where they are) and reloading the game wont bring them back.

Do the rise turtles respawn? The third is invisible at all times so just swing where it is and see if it works.

Never killed the second one but it seems it died anyway and the third can only be killed at night which is why i believed the quest bugged

Make sure you also read the book after respawning, and also make sure you don't teleport to another site of grace / rest until you find the turtle after reading the book.

What the hell is this stupid ass quest... The turtle s never spawn I've been to the locations 4 times. I tried not using grace. I tried at night, at tdaytime...

THEY SIMPLE DO NOT FREAKIN SPAWN....

Nevermind, I don't need the weakest spell in the game (moon) anyway.

We ran into this as well, have you tried interacting with the message again that spawns them? This fixed it for us.

I , like Op died on the first turtle. I killed him. Now no other will show up. I've tried interacting with the message before i start looking for the next one. I think this one is bugged for good.

Yeah you have to read the book to make them spawn. Even if you read it before.

What worked for me was doing the spirit spring turtle a day later after reading the book. I don't know why it worked only that it did. So maybe if you have the time while doing other things just come back every once in a while and try that.

Also i'm not sure but I have seen mention that you are not supposed to tp during this challenge but that's unconfirmed.
