Redmane Castle no enemies bug

When I took the teleporter from the top of Fort Gael to East side of the bridge towards Redmane Castle there were no enemies at all on the path leading up the keep. The vampire bat things around the back were there though but as I entered the keep proper there were no enemies at all. I was able to just walk mostly freely around the keep except that I could not interact with any of the doors, not even a "does not open from this side" message appeared. When I got to the end of the keep the boss was not there and the NPC's were already gathered in the boss arena for the festival.

I have tried logging out, resetting the game, and playing in offline mode, nothing is fixing it and I'm worried that the whole area bugged out and its a dead zone.

My brother was watching me at the time and he has done the keep before and was surprised when there were no enemies. Apparently the whetblade for fire is behind one of the doors i cant open and im doing a faith build.

just had the same thing but tp'd out and went the normal way to get into the castle which is up the right side after hopping on to the siege tower and everything loaded and the doors were finally open. When i went in the first time i thought it was wierd there were no enemies. I did beat starscourge radhn before i did this tho so you might need to do that as well if ya havent already

I think the castle get depleted of all troops after you beat godrick because I've been inside Before and After and I can tell that there was tons of enemy before I've defeated Godrick but now it's all empty

From my experience i'm sure it's not a bug, it's intentional, i forgot at which point of the story does the festival begin, but once it does, the castle becomes empty and you get to participate in the festival with the other champions. TLDR, beat Radahn (The boss in Redmane) and the enemies will spawn again and doors will be opened again.

its not a bug, after the festival is held and the boss defeated they are populated! All the enemies are in the festival

ok so my issue is this.

Beat the two bosses before getting to talk about the festival but nothing is progressing. NPC.S wont show up, enemies are still there. godrick was already killed. not sure what to do
