Can't help lower level players?

Trying to join summoning pool to help people with Margit, but never get summoned from this location anymore. Has everyone just moved on from starting area, therefore no summons, or am I prevented from joining summoning pool in the beginner area to help others?

summoning is based on your lvl and max upgraded weapon, low lvl ppl will not be able to summon you if you lvl up too much and upgrade alot your weapons

Yea, most likely. If ur at endgame equipment or level, u cant join low level public... except if u have a password with the low level friends(idk this work, but DS3 work)

Not sure myself but if it's anything like other souls games the people you can play with change depending on your character's level and in some cases even your weapon's level. So most people at that fight are fairly low I would imagine and you may just be outside this range, I believe PVP influences this as well so you aren't invaded by some dude with a pure stat advantage vs. skill. Old games the average level people would cap at is 120 because raising stats after a certain point was pretty minor anyway and lessened the chance you could play with someone. Could be different but keep that in mind, might not wanna have a character with 99 in each category as you may only match with other people with similar stats and takes FOREVER anyway

Thanks for the answer, all. I really appreciate it. Sucks the game is designed this way, but I understand the intention. Wish I could help folks who need it, too bad ER doesn't level-scale to the content.

well i suppose the level capping is there to prevent ez rune arc farming, which is a good thing imo.

you can create low lvl characters to help ppl, many ppl do this on starter areas in souls games

i see no reason to believe it doesnt, the whole reason it exists is to stop twinks, having a lvl 10 with lvl 25 weapons would be a huge mistake
