Regular Enemies with Glowing eyes

I've run into a few average mobs, usually after death and noticed sometimes their eyes will have a trailing glow to them. Sort of like when mobs would "level up" in GoW 2018 Hard Mode. Anyone else notice and wonder what it might mean?

I think its the kinda mobs that have "madness" inside of them. Long story short they will apply madness debuff on you in a way of spells or attacks. If debuffs reaches full bar your character screams in agony and losses tons of hp.

Not sure of the meaning, but they give more runes upon death.

It just means that particular mob will drop 5x the loot and 5x the amount of souls.

As far as i know glowing eyes means the enemies give you 3-5 times the amount of runes as the normal typs

I know which ones you mean but I think you might be wrong, I think op is thinking about the golden eyes, I think the ones you mention are orange, if I remember correctly. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Those are enemies that have absorbed some of your runes when you died near them
