Trapped, can't fast travel, and stuck in terrain.

My character literally is dead, forever, trapped inside a teleport, ultimate Dark Souls death, no coming back from this. Game over man, From Soft wins.

Have you tried using a weapon art? If you have a dagger or something on it you can probably possibly dash or something, that might unstick you.

Also try quitting and reloading, it might reset you.

Otherwise it's the item that kills you and causes you to return to the last grace shrine you rested at. You'll lose all your runes which sucks, but really, 2000 is nothing to write home about, you could make them back by killing the two giants pulling a wagon in the starting area, for example.

When you say stuck in the terrain, do you mean you literally cannot move? If this is the case, quit out of the game, then come back in. The game should move you elsewhere. Otherwise, you may have to use the item that will cost you your runes. But this is if you literally CANNOT move, not a single step, jump, etc.

Or do you mean when you quit the game that you're in the same location and/or when you die, you are there too? If it's the latter, this is intentional. You opened a chest that teleported you to a trapped cave. You will have to find the Grace point / rest point in the cave, use it, THEN leave the cave to teleport away.

Just kill the giant outside stormhill shack for 1000 souls. Do it twice and you'll have recouped the loss. He's really easy. Use the death-item.

Quitting to main menu doesn't fix it. Killing myself is not a good answer.

Just run down from the shack, ignore all enemies. Continue through the tunnel and you get out.

lol i got stuck in the same spot because of the blood hound weapon art, I got out after relogging and jumping a couple times after doing weapon art again

You are not in the starting area anymore. That is the point of the tp traps.

xD, you are no longer in the starting area...
You got TP trapped and are now in a midgame area that is significantly stronger than the starting zone.

Even if you get out of that rock you are most likely going to have to run your ass out of that dungeon.

Word of advise, if you are finding this game extremely difficult, do NOT try to fight the weird bone/bug guys, just run as far as you can to get out.

Not only is it your only answer, it is a very good answer, you're going to respawn where the tele trap sent you anway, so you won't lose your runes and you will still be in a cave filling your loincloth with dung.
