sorceries and staves ?

so im playing an astrologer start and i have gotten to the point i have a small collection of sorceries and staff's(technically staves) and wanted some feed back on the staves in particular i currently have 3 the base start staff the glimer stone staff and the demi humans queen staff of the three the starter staff while boring seems to have the best scaling at +4 and 49 int ive got a 171 spell scaling while at plus 2 for both of the others the glimer stone staff has 159 and the demi humans has 157 and if i remember right the astrologers staff had about 160 ish spell buff when i had it at plus 2 obviously ivew upgraded it some

compared to the meteorite staff at 244 at 60 int

Honestly it's a bit early to know as even the wiki on the game is missing a lot of data, even missing entire weapons and locations so far.

Edit: As far as miracles go I think the best all-around is the finger seal so it might be the same with sorcery, ala the basic sorcery staff from DS3 was really good until I think int 50+.

Carian regal scepter you have to have it crafted by the finger maiden with the finger fetish but point for point its looking solid ill add any others i find and ill do so now i found the diggers staff at 60 int and un upgraded its sitting at 157 ss

i have no idea but you dont really see which is best untill you at minimum meet the requirements and honestly im not rocking a lvl of faith past what was baked in with my start

just to clarify for everyone so far its looking like

1. Carian regal scepter starts with s int scaling fully upgradable using normal smithing stone's must be transposed at the finger maiden after getting the moon queens remenants and boosts full moon sorceries word of warning minimum int to use this staff is 60

2. Meteorite staff boosts gravity sorceries and has s int scaling but is not upgradeable

3. Astrologers staff astrologer start staff (can be purchased in world but the vendors in the far northwest)

4. Glint stone staff probably the first staff you will run across if you dont have your own already (drops from the sorcerers if your lucky) bog standard works but not the best

5. Demi human queens staff artfully made but thats about it

6. Diggers staff arguably the weakest of staves so far at the unupgraded level comes with a boost to stone digger sorceries also arguably a pretty nice looking staff

this list is by no means complete ive only been playing this character for 26 hours all total and while i may have gotten my int to 60 im aiming for 70 as theres a spell id like to try that actually involves the Carian regal scepter

two additional staves ive just found are the staff of loss which can only cast invisibility spells as per its description and lusats staff which makes every spell cost more fp but also boosts every sorcery might be a worth while use of the glintstone scarab to see what it can do

Lusats staff is better than carian staff in terms of spell damage(roughly 10-15% damage increase) but spells cost 50% more fp. So it's up to you which is the best staff. My pick is carian for general pve and lusats for burst dps and pvp.

my previous list was before id found Lusats staff though ive not yet attempted to upgrade it i imagine it would readily upgrade which then puts it at the top of the list damage wise
