sorceries and staves ?

so im playing an astrologer start and i have gotten to the point i have a small collection of sorceries and staff's(technically staves) and wanted some feed back on the staves in particular i currently have 3 the base start staff the glimer stone staff and the demi humans queen staff of the three the starter staff while boring seems to have the best scaling at +4 and 49 int ive got a 171 spell scaling while at plus 2 for both of the others the glimer stone staff has 159 and the demi humans has 157 and if i remember right the astrologers staff had about 160 ish spell buff when i had it at plus 2 obviously ivew upgraded it some

as you can see the astrologers staff has better sorcery scaling than either of the others even at +1 its only 1 point from the best of the other 2 with an int of 52

Ok honestly, I would rush the meteorite staff...

As that is better than all early game staffs till about Level +14 of normal smith stone staffs (they go to 25).
The boss staffs only need about +6 (they max at 10) before they catch up to the meteorite staff.

Or is this topic for science?

all the above tbh though i had no idea there was a meteorite staff so now i have a goal lol still have no idea where that is yet but ill find it eventually

So the thing about the meteorite staff is it starts off with S-class INT scaling.

But you can't upgrade it and you cannot customize it.

However it is by far the strongest staff in the early-mid game levels because of it's high base scaling and the fact that it boosts gravity spells, which includes Rock Sling which is like 2 minutes away from the meteorite staff and one of the best spells in the early-mid game, maybe even late game.

Bottom line is Meteorite Staff at base is better than non-unique staffs till about level 14-16.

It is also better than Unique staffs till around 5-6.

So it is very very good.

You kind of need to go out of your way to find it, it's extremely easy to get to with a horse, but finding it is going to be difficult if you want to find it on your own.

so i believe ive found the best sorcery staff so far though its a doozy requiring 60 int just to use at +5 with 60 int it has 224 sorcery scaling and s scaling for int plus its upgradeable meaning it can go much higher using regular smithing stones in comparison the astrologers staff has 209 SS at +8 at 60 int
