If you hit a solider with his crossbow out he skips frames and just has sword/Warpick out.
Knocking knights/raider off there horse they fall to the ground but if you hit them once they skip frames and just stand.
Posion from those singing bats and perfumers explosive powder all go threw walls.
enemy shields do not seem to work how they should for example the first tree sentinal(starting zone)wields a big as shield and it does nothing but an attack animation not blocking at all. This is also considered for Tree sentinal at the front of the capital.
Add mechanics and add resources to make the player think? Were you looking for a puzzle game? I don't understand.
You're complaining about one of the easiest encounters in the game. NPC invaders can be spammed out with r1's and magic it's not even a challenge. If you're struggling to dodge their attacks then I have a hard time figuring out how you made it 100+ hours into the game.
Amazing how many people can't be bothered to look up the original quotes as to why invasions were originally created. To paraphrase the man himself, Invaders (even the NPC ones) were designed to be special challenges to break players from their monotonous habits that keep them generally safe.
Invaders are there to ♥♥♥♥ with you. They always have been. NPC variants too.
FYI, you can jump spam most of them to death without issue.
