About the Nintendo Switch Pro Controller

Anyone have success getting this to work for this game?

Really planning on getting this game very soon just wondering if anyone had any luck.

Steam>Setting>Controller>General Controller Settings

I saw an extra controller called vjoy device if you see it then go to Device Manager>Human Interface Devices> then disable vjoy device

then you should be able to use the switch controller but this should work on all controllers though if you dont have vjoy that shows up in the controller settings and something else watch the video cause its more stuff to it if you dont have it.

Unfortunately I don't think is the probhlem because I only see my pro controller.

So I had controller issues with my Switch Pro controller, and did manage to find a fix, though it comes with the caveat that you can't play online (for me, that's not an issue, but may not be worth it for others). You can try disabling the Easy Anti-Cheat. Right-click ELDIN RING in your Steam Library > Properties > Local Files > Browse... After this open the Game folder that appears. There will be two executables, "eldin ring.exe" and "start_protected_game.exe" (the .exe extension will only appear if you have File Extensions turned on in folder options, which I generally recommend having on). The second is the anticheat. Simply rename it to anything you want (I did "start_protected_game Old.exe") and then rename "eldin ring.exe" to "start_protected_game.exe". You should then be able to start the game through Steam and hopefully your controller will work, though ER will launch offline and won't let you go online.

It works. However, switching to two-handed is mapped to RB+LB+X and I can't seem to remap it to something easier to execute. Other than that works really well.

yea I just used switch pron for 2 playthorughs/ all my playtime and there is no problem with it no idea what you mean, cabled and bluetooth work excellent

The new controller settings on STEAM work well. You should configure the deadzones of your sticks thogh.

if you still have problems just uninstall everything vjoy related since that program is outdated for simply using controllers on PC, either use Steams built in Switch Controller support or DS4Windows which supports PS4 and Switch Controllers too
