Even Steam's button layout swap option works on it.
I haven't gotten past the first screen yet. I know the game is detecting my controller because when I hold down the home button (house icon) I can do the following:
* pull right trigger: left click
* move right joystick: control mouse cursor
I know this is a widespread problem because I've looked at sooo many articles and posts about this. People like to say "well it works for me so it's a you problem" but it's not just a me problem.
People shouldn't have to go through HID devices or unplug all of their ♥♥♥♥ to get a controller working for one game (where that same controller works w/ plug and play for everything else).
I use to play some games on steam and emulators and my pc picked it up I was just curious thats all since i heard some people had trouble its good to see it working for others though.
steam inherently treats it as an xbox controller, and knows to swap the ABXY buttons to match the controller's layout
the only issue you may run into is when a game has a UI visual for your controller to help with what to press, such as metal gear rising
if it isn't working, its a problem with your PC and what configs you have setup. because, again, steam has native support for the pro controller
If my controller works on every game except this one, then the problem is my computer? This doesn't make any sense. We shouldn't have to fiddle with HIDs and peripherals to get a gamepad to work on one program where it otherwise works on all others.
Launch the game, once you're on the menu, turn on your controller. That worked for me
I really wanted this to work and was prepared to be embarrassed, but alas it did not :/ thanks though
Yeah unfortunately it doesn't work in big picture nor does it work in desktop. :/
no dice--oh well. I'll wait a couple of days for a fix and then refund it if one doesn't materialize. I'm spending too much time on this.
Thanks anyways y'all
