Rennala worst boss

Shes the worst designed Boss from DS2 to until Sekiro ive ever fought, even blazing bull is better than her, just wanted to say that

Edit: I was just mad because shes a waste of time, this game is ♥♥♥♥ all in all, and stop thinking shes "hard" for me

Already hate 75% of the bosses i fought because dungeons *cough* bosses going down in 10 hits *cough* boring open world filler *cough*

Tbf I'll take Rennala over Begotten Warrior and Crucible Knight, shes a boring boss sure but I havent pulled my hair out like I did for those two since probably OoK.

Havent fought them yet, but i can say that Rennalas not just boring but a bossfight that would make me quit the game for a week if i couldnt kill her (on a bad day), the design is just so time consuming and theres just so much spell spamming to the point that i need a minute to get a window for 2 hits and then repeat that 6 times, and theres also no need for phase one cause even if you take damage it will not even be 10% of your health so why even to that

Loved the game so far, but Rennala is bugged as FK. Killed maybe 500 schoolgirls. She never came down from her immortal floatiness.

you have to kill the glowing ones, the others dont matter, there is only 1 glowing one at a time, and they are the only one who will throw books at you (Im pretty sure any way)

Yeah, killed her like a million times. I'm not dumb enough to just keep killing the same mob over and over. Looked around for all the visual cues I could find. Killed the ones casting purple magic. Had a summon running around with me, neither of us could find anything more significant than that. Noticed some of them were spawning inside the curtained walls and getting stuck so maybe the "special" one was stuck outside the arena?

The students you need to kill have a golden shine around them and there's only ever one. Once you kill it, another student will get the golden aura (they are also the only ones who throw books at you as their attack). You need to kill 3 students before Rennala comes crashing down.

I thought Renala was really fun. :) It's nice to sometimes have a puzzle boss instead of a pure mechanics boss. It brings these sorts of games their charm imo, and makes those iconic "hard fights" so much sweeter. I had a great time fighting a beating Margit the first time and I pounded my head and did Radahn 50 levels sooner than I should have. A real joy, and I love this game.

Same. I enjoyed Renalla boss as well. 1st phase was absolute madness and I love it.

The 2nd phase surprised me and I died on the 1st try but managed to beat her on my 2nd or 3rd.

I saved my spirit summon for her 2nd phase and she can easily be staggered while she is casting spells.

It is very similar to a Demon's Souls boss.

Same. I found the summons that she has can be annoying though. Was quite surprised when she summoned a dragon. Now i'm fighting Radahn and it is probably going to take me a while. I'm not liking the fight so far. Getting 1 to 2 tapped is rough, especially when the boss does massive sweeping attacks or combos. His size doesn't help either.
Enjoying the game though.

This boss is awesome.

Atmosphere is amazing, especially first phase.

This game PvE is almost perfect. Repeated minibosses a lot of course, because you can't perform miracles, but easy 10/10.

PvP is where this game's needs to prove what it is.
