ELDEN RING
Does this game really not have Steam Cloud save?
It doesn't say on the Steam store page but with the Steam Deck shipping it makes zero sense not to have cloud save so people can jump between Deck and Desktop.

I've seen games that do have cloud save but it just doesn't show on the store page. I won't be buying this game unless it has cloud saves so I would greatly appreciate it if someone could let me know.

Thank you.

EDIT: Thanks for the replies, it seems as though Elden Ring does indeed have Steam Cloud sync. Further evidence can be found on the PCGamingWIki:

For whatever reason, FS have not listed cloud save on the store.

It definitely does have. I played it on different cloud PC's and my saves was synchronised.

It does say, but it doesn't make any sense. None of From's games have cloud save but all perform terribly when online or because EAC which is the real enemy in Elden.

But holy cow I didn't think of the Deck. For a game to be verified it should have Cloud Save, otherwise what's the point for us PC gamers? We want to play our games at home and anywhere else, and if I can't continue my game on the go I really can't see the point.

Are you sure about it? Checked on my main account and it says Cloud is enabled. They only forgot to put the info on the main page.

SteamDB states the files that are saved into the clouds are:
ER0000.sl2
GraphicsConfig.xml
https://www.pcgamingwiki.com/wiki/Elden_Ring
PC Gaming Wiki says the save file is named ER0000.sl2.

That might be true, I haven't had to check, but it says the same thing about Dark Souls 3 and I actually lost my save file when my old HDD stopped working. That's a fact that happened to me.

According to steam only Sekiro has. DS1 apparently has it, but it's so buggy that it doesn't even feature on the store. Fact me wrong

Darks Souls 3 has Steam Cloud *however* it has the options ignoreexternalfiles and hidecloudui enabled which basically prevent it from working.
Elden Ring doesn't have these enabled so it should work.
