Redmane Castle doors locked

I have a problem with Redmane Castle... I never went into the castle early through the backdoor, because apparently I was blind. So I just went into the castle when I had the event with the festival. So I had no Boss at the Plaza and all doors are locked. I cant even interact with the doors. Anyone else with the same problem?

No.

I went through through front and everything was opened. Bosses included. Sounds like you did a glitch which caused the game to soft-lock. Try progressing through the front of it and see if it unlocks.

I cant progress from the front. I just went there early on in the game, when I was exploring. It didnt open so I thought I have to get some key events to happen before I can get in. Then some day I was exploring in this area again and saw that the teleporter is working suddenly. I used it and just got instantly to Radahn basically. No bosses and the Doors are locked. The only enemys were the 2 Lions. I didnt do any glitch as far as Im aware. When Im going from the back of the castle into it, the door which usually would lead you inside the castle is locked and I cant even interact.

You're not alone. I've had the same issue. No 1st boss spawned and no enemies in the castle except the two non respawing lion like creatures. I also can't open two of the doors and there are two items I can see and not reach, including a key item

I assume by now you've figured out, but for anyone reading this later - it's not an issue. You are far enough in a related questline that the festival already started. That basically means you have to go straight for Radahn and come back for anything else later.

To start the fight, you need to go to the courtyard with a bunch of tables at the northern part of the castle - an NPC should announce a festival. Go up and talk to him (he's on the balcony overlooking the courtyard) and exhaust his dialog for him to open the door to the church and the teleporter to the boss.

After killing the boss, the NPC moves near the door to the church that was previously opened. Exhaust his dialog again to end the festival - the next time you load the area it will have enemies and bosses.

I am having the same problem…Redmane doors all closed…the only thing I can do is going to the Boss Fight, taking the lift to the river beach…

I followed your and other instructions, I killed Radahn 1st time, and I did not notice anyone close to the lift to talk to, after wards (as mentioned in some comments in this thread), I even talked to every NPC in the upper level (after taking the lift again, after the Radhan kill). I did not see any monk whatsoever…

I teleported to the grace before the bridge of Redmane Castle, and started everything again, rekilling the boss Radahn…same problem…the doors are still closed, and I desperatly need to take the Flameberge greatsword.

I honestly do not understand why Fram Software does not make anything against this issue, which is clearly a BUG!

In the next future I will carefully think whether I buy their games, full of glitches and bugs…and as I see this is a very old one, which bother the majority of the community, and what do FROM SOFTWARE do?…NOTHING!

You have to kill Radahn and after that talk to the guy who announced the festival, he is sitting in a chair in the building that looks like a church. You can 100% get everything in this area, you just do it in a different order.
