Does anyone else find the female voice for the player annoying?

Like seriously, she gets lightly slapped and screams like someone stabbed her. I wish we had an option to just mute our character.

I don't know if it is annoying, but it is much louder then the male, or maybe just more present amongst the other sounds in battle.

Yeah seems like all of the voices for both male and female are pretty bad.

Imagine picking a female char and then complaining about voice. You can select between different voice cant you? Male had like 6 different voices on char creation.

I tried changing it after but it didnt quite work?? maybe I did it wrong or need to rebirth

It might be biological & Media. Female screams used to get to me differently. When Worldstar came out It all sounds the same now. Could be the lack of them it in media?

My friend had to even play a male character in Terraria as the girl one's "ouch" was unpleasant.

Theres probably a mod or game file you can use to mute it. Why not play as male then?
