i really dont understane how it works. sometimes i can use and sometimes i cant. and it say i need i think it was 55 something. but i have more then that and i still cant use it. what is it that i have to do.. plz help

You can't use ashes in every area. A small gravestone icon will appear in the bottom left corner indicating when you may call upon Spirit Ashes.

You need to be in range of a monument, i.e. it can be activated only at certain areas. When this condition is met, there will be a white grave-like symbol showing up in your HUD's lower left, above the quick select items.

aarh thanks. its weird tho. bc the mad pumping head thing where the flower boss is. i did use it but next time i got there bc i died i couldnt use it for some reason after i just did last time

You need to be in an area where you can summon, sometimes you can enable this by clicking on a small monument. There is a white icon that displays on the left of the screen when you are able to summon.
