Same problem for me. Just went for a refund.

Try to turn off nVidia GeForce Experience overlay. It seems to have fixed that issue for me.

I only have 8 mins of gameplay before refund window closes. Do that really work ??

Ofcourse it doesn't.

I am having the same issue. I got into 2 big fights and both crashed. One in the castle and one with a different big foe to the north. This is so annoying!!

Going to try turning the Overlay off. Thanks Over

Everytime there is more then 1 explosion my game crashes.
Before the patch I played for 15 hours without any issues.
I'm now turning off the overlay but this will not work I'm sure of it.

I can only testify my experience. This was how bad the freezes were: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U0ZzohVH2KY

That was in less than 5 minutes of gamplay. If I continued, there would a time where it would freeze and stay frozen, forcing me to terminate the game with the task manager. And to launch the game again, I would have to reboot my PC, or the game would hang on a black screen, before the Bandai logo.

Turned off GeForce Experience's In-Game Overlay, no more freezes (I've played 20 minutes straight). The downside is that I can't use Shadowplay to record gameplay.

It seems I was too hasty into thinking the problem was solved. After a few hours, I launched the game again, thinking I would finally put a couple hours into the game, but the stuttering/freeze problem is back. It even crashed after 5 minutes. GeForce Experience overlay was turned off, so I don't know why I got those 20 minutes without a single stutter a few hours ago. :(

It seemed to help I think. After I turned it off I never had a crash again. Played for about 4 hours without issue. After the new patch I was getting random lock ups and usually against harder enemies.
