I've had no issues with the game as a str build with 26 str, a morning star and a shield. Stagger is extremely strong, mixed with bleed, but I've watched others with similar builds, or completely different ones, sit at a boss I first tried, for more than two hours at a time. Different strokes, different folks.
Bleed is likely what is making things easy for you xD. It's so damn strong.
have the games bosses been too easy for you?
Magrit, no.
Godrick, Yes.
(Spoiler.) yes
Leon, yes
Any sub bosses aside from the first cat statue goblin thing cause I started as a Wretch? yes.
Because the hard truth is, if you are a veteran and familiar with the mechanics then you will probably never get that noob feeling ever again and everything will feel a lot easier to you.
Magic is always strong, but some souls members consider it the "coward's way." I find it as a utility to beat the game/boss. Play how you like. My friend summoner the golden sorc+a skeleton army to fight Magrit. I didn't judge him lol.
Speaking of which... those dungeon mini-bosses are pretty low effort and boring, except for the cat statue, that one was kinda memorable for how bad it is.
You'll be happy to know it is reused in another catacomb, but they add 4 goblins with it. So if ya liked it the first time, you'll love it the second!
