Interesting perspective that it makes it harder. On the boss I'm talking about, I only got it to about half health on my own after multiple tries. And on most tries I did much worse than that. But on the first try with the summoned entity, I got the boss down to 25%. Then I purposefully killed myself.
To be clear, I'm happy about the difficulty. But because I've purposefully not read or watched a lot of Elden Ring stuff, I'm not sure what's intended by the developers. I know someone will post that I can do whatever I want. But I'd still like to know.
Only talking about NPC summons, ofc.
Is not taking the summon dumb? My choices right now are to take the summon or come back later.
And I switched it to offline mode for now, so I'm talking about NPC summons as well.
Exactly. The summon did so well at diverting attention that the fight felt very different.
I'm going to buy the game today to test it out on my machine. I typically don't use summons, because I enjoy the challenge.
