No adaptive resolution for Ultra-Wide Monitors (Samsung Odyssey 9)

I'd like to hear from the developers on what their plans, if they have any, to make resolutions for ultra-wide monitors. I honestly didn't think I'd be playing games on this ridiculously wide monitor and that I would change the resolution to a smaller size, but to be honest, I've really been enjoying playing every non-competitive game on a ultra-wide resolution.

The only competitive game that I've ever played not supporting 21:9 has been Overwatch. Not supporting ultrawide is such a joke.

I am guessing they dont want widescreen as they consider it cheating when it comes to the pvp part of the game.

I do play overwatch on 21:9, are you sure it was overwatch?

We are many to request for ultrawide and super ultrawide but it doesn't look like we can get any traction but posting on the Steam forums hence my suggestion.

So, today, when I loaded up the game it was in my ultrawide 5120x1440 resolution, looked great for about 2 seconds, then it reverted back to a smaller resolution. I'm wondering if there's just been a bug this whole time, and maybe we can figure out some sort of work around?

they put black bars on the sides on purpose

So it naturally wants to be ultrawide but FromSoft intentionally put the black siding? That sounds bizarre...
