How to remove blood stains and white messages?

I don't like the blood stains/white messages, I feel it ruins immersion to the game. Is there a way to remove it without being offline?

I understand that it is part of the lore that there are otherworldy charchters, but mostly its troll messages stating the obvious. Sometimes they are helpful but I would rather discover the game by myself.

From the perspective of feeling like you are "inside" the world, the white marks/bloodstains ruins the immersion. You will go into a dark cave or whatever and you will see 20 white marks everywhere it ruins the immersion for me.

It'd be nice if we could hide the white messages. Most of them are completely useless.

Can you still get steam achievements if you are offline in the game? I was playing earlier and my internet/steam was online but the server was having issues or something. That's when I realized I enjoyed the game more without the stains/messages.

I think its a matter of opinion. I feel less immersed in the game world with it active. I don't need a consent reminder that there are otherwordly beings. To me it just looks like a cheap trick the devs used to make it feel like you are playing with other people. I'd rather experience the game as a single-player experience.

to be honest white messages feat this game rly bad. most of the time in open workd they just have so bright white collor so sometimes you go for some item that is far frome you and in the end its another *secret wall here* message(DS players never changes)

Bloodstains and especially messages have always completely ruined immersion in souls games. Some contrived 'Lore' for them will not change that.
