Keyboard and Mouse - Good or Bad?

Hey there. I heard SkillUp saying that the keyboard and mouse controls for this game is not good and it should be played with a controller on PC but he didn't elaborate on why.

For those of you playing... what's the real situation with the keyboard and mouse controls? is it really that bad?

It's awful. The typical hints for on-screen controls only show controller buttons so you have no idea what key to press for a given menu item. This is the case in-game and at the main menu. If you are at the main menu, you can right-click to get a list of available controller buttons to virtually 'press' in order to clumsily navigate the menu. This is some horribly lazy PC console port garbage. I really hope they fix this quick. Also, no ultrawide monitor support and FPS locked to 60 with no way to disable/enable vsync. Horrible.

It’s possible to play on keyboard mouse and will take hours to get the muscle memory down but controllers are overall better

It is pretty good actually. Even better than DS3 because moving mouse also steers left and right as well (instead of just changing angle). You can go to setting and make the on screen hints to be mouse keyboard instead of controller.

You can change the prompts to keyboard in settings like in Sekiro.

I'm playing on K&M. At first it feels very confusing, but when you adapt it feels smooth but can't recomend it now because of this issue, and actually i recomend to rebind some buttons to feel more comfortable on K&B, because base binds feels realy bad.

the game is basically unplayable on a keyboard and mouse. Laggy from either input issues or stuttering issues. This is a questionable buy even if you use a controller. Absolutely not if you use a keyboard and mouse. Wait for a patches or a sale

Yo can change the prompts via the menu. I didnt realise initially. Press A, press B. But in the menu settings theres a setting 'display keyboard and mouse prompts' , now it says press 'E' ect. Hope that helps (it did for me :) ) As for playing with KB+M, it's oki, same as the Dark souls games

that is my main gripe..not haven the queues for keyboard an mouse
