Everyone is still pre-ordering like games are scarce or something.
It is also an open world game and whenever there were car explosions or too many zombies and effects, the game would turn blurry for a few seconds.
Something like that could work But with a finished code almost impossible to change.
They could add a slider for people to choose how far they want to see objects in the open world and also an in-game performance display like for example Destiny 2 has. That way people could adjust their game to run at stable 30+ fps.
My laptop was getting 25-28fps, constant invisible enemies. I tried pretty much everything listed in the thread, but what finally got it working was enabling Turbo Mode in my bios. I was just messing around and found it randomly in the power & performance options. Im now getting 35-45 fps and not having issues with invisible enemies.
I know this probably wont make a difference for most people, but I had no idea that it was even an option so hopefully this helps someone else out too.
IF they know then why are they asking us to inform them about the problem? it makes no sense
Just keep an eye on your temperatures whenever you do that. It's basically stock over clock settings. I would again not suggest to do these things as risking a system just to play a badly optimized game is not worth it. They will find a way to patch this problem. I am confident in that.
Allow me to spell that for you : H-Y-P-E
Something entirely conceptual, and I'd argue, illusory, that feeds upon the need of consumers to be "on top" of everything. Be the first to play the next big game, clear it as fast as possible using the best builds, the most optimized everything, so you can feel like you're part of a digital community that, quite frankly, isn't real at all.
We're not playing games anymore, we're existing through the fact that they are acknowledged as real life achievements.
We therefore get the real life treatment : unfinished products, for the highest price we'd pay, so that shareholders can put some more butter on their fat piece of bread.
Anyway, back on topic : tested undervolting my CPU to no good result.
Started fighting my way towards the third castle.
Hell I'm sure I'll have this game finished before they fix it. At least I hope I can go through the complete experience in NG+.
Like frame drops, enemies tether issues, and invisible enemies. Due to how the guy likes to play and fact he got a top tier gaming rig, I don't think he's noticed this bug. But yeah I noticed that in fact he was getting this bug as to how the enemies were doing that noticeable fade in/out business.
If it wasn't due to the limited promo release contract I would have seen the issues with this game and waited on getting it so soon. I still want to play this game but this bug really killing it for me.
So as I'm nearing the 2 hour mark and none of the fixes have worked well enough for me to enjoy the game I'm waiting on the patches. Other wise I'm just going to have to ask for a refund as I can't play this as it stands, which costs me $100 where I am and that's my hard earned money.
I have the exact same cpu, literally
this is probably a hardware related issue, my cpu is overcloked to 4 ghz and still doesn't work even tho it is more than needed to run it smoothly
