Elden Ring Boost FPS without sacrificing quality.

POSSIBLE FIX FOR PC FRAME RATE

Exit the game. Go to your windows bar and search "graphics". Click on "Graphics Settings". Choose desktop app and click "browse". Search through your drive for the EldenRing.exe and set the options to "High performance". Start the game.

edit: I also disabled steam overlay for the game, and chose to run Steam itself on high performance, too.

also I have been playing the game on PS5 but I will be getting it on PC as well in the next few days, but on PS5 there is a similar option ingame to the first from this tutorial and enabling it on PS5 I got nearly half sometimes more than half of my fps to drop....its something based on that setting.

it has effect on multiple games and its one setting from there accompanied by changes in 2 other areas.

This should actually be changed to high performance for best possible performance.

Another thing that might help is to open "~\Steam\steamapps\common\ELDEN RING\Game\", right click "eldenring.exe" and choose "properties".
Go to the "Compatibility"-tab and check "inactivate fullscreen optimization" then press "OK".

thanks man I just assumed he was a hater since he didn't provide any evidence for his point...I might not be playing it on PC yet but I want to see people enjoying the game rather than getting ticked off because of some issue that will assuredly be fixed.
