FoV slider, FPS unlock, Widescreen Support, Vignette Disable Mod now available

The Flawlesswidescreen devs required a whopping 10 hours of work to get ultrawide resolutions working, add a FoV Slider, add frametime adjustments to combat lagspikes, disable Vignette (+other annoying effects in a future update) and allow an unlocked framerate with proper VRR support. Also disabling EAC (which is sadly required to use mods and disables online) fixes all stuttering issues - my 2070 is enough to run this game at ~100fps now and doesn't have annoying framedrops every few minutes anymore.

But apparently fanatic fromsoft cult followers still say that a 5,2 billion dollar company with 316 workers would have a hard time implementing those standard features every proper PC port nowadays has and say people should stop asking for those features to be added. Those kinda people disgust me. Why do you feel good about being a corporate bootlicker of a multi billion dollar company? Stop defending bad practices in the gaming industry please.

Really hope fromsoft will unlock the FPS and add all those other features someone who didn't work on the game managed to add in just 10 hours... There is no reason to have a locked framerate in 2022. That locked framerate trend died a decade ago and should stay dead. Many people want to play this game with online functionality and right now you can either play online or play a proper fixed version of the game. Everyone should be able to play this game properly and it's a shame fromsoftware created such a lackluster PC port (although consoles apparently can't even manage stable 60fps even in performance mode which is surprisingly bad performance).

The game itself truly is amazing but the performance issues on all platforms, the bad PC port, the missing features people expect nowadays (FoV slider, unlocked FPS, proper settings menu, etc.) and tons of quality of life issues really destroy the experience. If fromsoftware fixes all those issues and adds in all those basic features they will truly have a created a masterpiece. Fingers crossed they will deliver in the following days/weeks.

I am pretty sure literally nobody will defend them, they've famously had some pretty laughable ports. While they have technically gotten better than say...the first Dark Souls on PC...still not perfect though.

Its a shame this mod will turn off the one reason I want the game :/

How dare you befoul this perfect game with such FILTH!? If you do not like the field of view or the vignette, then you are clearly a casual! Go play your barbie game and leave our game aloooone! JUST LEAVE IT ALOOOONE!

I gladly don't mind as I prefer the singleplayer experience (like Sekiro) over classic Dark Souls but I really hope fromsoft adds those features and other quality of life improvements which have become the norm on PC to allow everyone to enjoy the game the way they want to play it.

I feel like they will, in time at least. They've done well enough in supporting the other games leading up to this so... I don't think this will go on for very long. At least making it more stable would be great for a lot of people. That seems to be the biggest problem.
