Performance review- Ryzen 3700X, GTX1070, 16 GB Ram (updated)
It runs super smooth (60fps) with everything on high and textures on max. No stutter at all, only one time for 1 second short before I opened the door and entered the open world.

My rig:
Ryzen 7 3700X
GTX 1070 8GB (Samsung VRAM)
16 GB DDR4 3200 MHz
512 GB SSD Samsung Evo
Windows 10 Prof (latest updates)
latest nvidia gpu driver with 10GB shader cache

A little update after 5 hours:
Still no stutters or frame drops

The community reaction isn't idiotic at all.

Many games recently have this same problem, they're released unfinished and unpolishes, with a lot of performance issue. You want some examples?

-FNAF Security Breach
-Resident Evil 7
-Warhammer 3 Total War
-Cyberpunk

And these are only the most famous. There are a lot of games out there who always come unfinished, while there are other games that are completed from the start.

The community si reacting this way because they trusted From Software with Elden Ring, but once again this same story happens. We ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ paid 60 $ for this game, we want a complete product, not a product unfinished that needs a patch!
I'm not defending from or any other software house. The performance must be fixed and I really hope it will be fixed. But acting like a bunch of spoiled brats flooding this forum with dumb posts and negative reviews who only are for complaining about the performance is completely pointless and doesn't let people understand how the game really is. If in the next days we won't get any performance fix I'll be disappointed too. It's just the wrong way to show your frustration against developers. Just don't preoder if you don't feel it's worth it, don't buy it or even crack the game if you feel it deserves to be boycotted, just stop being so damn dumb.

I played some time more and tried the tree sentinel again. No frame drops.

On my i7 5930K @4.2 Ghz (6C/12T) 32GB RTX 3080 SSD Firecuda 530, the game is a slowdown stutter fest... since the stairs of the tomb, the first golden boss on a horse the game slowdown from 60fps to 30fps during two long seconds and then is a continuos of slowdowns and stutter all the way to the second boss when u meet the girl.. ..i play HFW on a PS5 with better graphics at 60 fps stable.. i can play Dying Light 2 with RTX at 60+ fps, CP2077 at 55/60+ fps at 1440p with RTX and all maxed out.. I run AC Valhalla, RDR2 at max at more than 70/80+ fps, Immortal Fenyx at 90/100+ fps.. and i have these problems here for what reason?

Yes, some people already found the problem. It seems this is a problem of specifically RTX cards. Since you don't have an RTX card you have no problem. It's caused by directx12.

Crazy to hear that only RTX cards have issues. I hope some driver will fix it.

Apparently it may be a problem connected to Directx12, as i said. We just need to wait for the devs to fix this...

It really baffles me how the game is running better on a 5 year old 10-series card than a 30-series card. 🤔
