need help with d3d12.ddl missing error

Pretty much game will load and easy-anti cheat will get to 100% then hit me with the d3d12.ddl missing. I've re-downloaded, checked for Ram errors, defragged, verified, done a bootrec, done a download cache clear, checked download location was good, and still no progress. Anyone know something about this that I am missing?

So it looks like Windows 10 is minimum OS. I'm running 8.1 which doesn't support DirectX12. I'm guessing your issue is OS related too.

d3d12.dll is a part of directx12.
Keep in mind that you need to have directX 12 on your system (Windows 10+)
If you do, then make sure your drivers are up to date.
If not, then there is no recourse at the moment.

I have a buddy giving me the D3D12.dll from their windows 10 from "C:\Windows\System32\D3D12.dll" l'll let you know if it works on windows 7 lol. The weird thing is maybe elden ring isn't optimized the best yet? It might be better as time progresses. I say this because I can play poopy retail World of Warcraft while using Directx 12 without having Directx 12 installed. I am going to try manually adding this file to my System32 and see if it works. :)
