Is there any Intelligence-Scaling Weapon in early areas?

Need help playing mage...

Playing Mage Build is tough. You have to put stats in everything.

Vigor so that you dont get one-shot.
Mind and Endurance so that you can keep casting without taking breaks.
Strength and/or Dex for your melee weapon.
Intelligence for your magic damage.

Would have been easier to play a strength build but I already put 6 hours into the game.

Look for the ashes, They change weapons to extra int/faith on the fly using the bonfires.
I think I did loot an int based spear off a mounted fool in Limgrave. I think it was int based. might be wrong.

I only have found a flail and a crappy shield in 3 hours of playtime, and I'm exploring as much as I can. I'm currently in Limgrave tunnels, and they're so empty! So weird.

there's the gravitas ash a little ways off from where you start that turns any weapon into magic-scaling, you gotta take a series of jumps down to the beach a little ways east from the start of the game and fight a dude, though.

Cant get it until I beat Margit. The Sword Looks Awesome. Cant wait to get my hands on it.

Just got the Gravitas ash of war. Scaling is not great. D Grade scaling. I need atleast a B Grade Scaling to keep up with Strength Builds.
