HDR keeps going back to off?
I have it set to full screen. I have an HD monitor. When I go to turn HDR on and exit out of the menu, it's back to off when I go back in. It is not grayed out. So it's not that.

Same issue for me, it allows me to turn HDR on in the settings, but it won't save the selection no matter what I do.

What monitor are you using? I have this problem on my Neo G9 but on my LG C1 TV it saves HDR. So weird.

Same here, with asus Pg32uq and 2080 ti (display port), it doesn't works. I can't adjust specfic settings of hdr, and it always go back to Off.
Both in fullscreen and borderless.

Last driver and hdr work in every other games

Sounded like a Neo problem, but this confuses me. I bet the problem is more rampant than we know but people don't even know it's off.

I'm on Windows 11. I ended up switching to borderless windowed. I think colours were super washed out in full screen mode and a little better in borderless, but no HDR in any case.

I am also in the same boat. Windows 11, 3080 TI and Samsung Neo G9. I guess its a common thread with the Neo G9 but not limited to. I wonder what other settings we share. In Windows 11 I have tried with HDR on and off. When running in borderless the HDR option is unavailable in game, only available in full screen.

I'm not sure why but in 120hz mode HDR saves as on. Maybe this game just can't process anything beyond 120hz. The Pg32uq is 144hz. Are you Neo users playing with the black bars. It's driving me crazy playing an open world game like this. I know the Flawless Fix is up but I don't want to risk being banned.

Is your monitor one that is HDR compatible or one that actually has HDR? I have a display that says HDR works but games with HDR10 auto-disable it. My LG C1 has true HDR

If you're using Windows 11 you can enable HDR at the OS level. Not sure what your situation is, but try your OS display settings

Thanks Donny but we own tremendous monitors that cost a lotta money, like A LOTTA money, and have really high IQs, so I think we know how to operate the basics. Of course we had HDR turns on in our OS.

well what worked for me was to activate hdr in windows 10 settings, go into the game and activate hdr (for some reason only in fullscreen) go ingame, alt tab in windows and uncheck hdr in windows settings again. now hdr is still on ingame and working. it even stays on after reboot/relaunching the game, without hdr in windows.

I'm using Win11 and a 3080, and can't even get the game to run in fullscreen to enable HDR in-game, I have to run it borderless or I just get a black screen. I have HDR enabled for everything else, so it's notable that Auto HDR doesn't even seem to activate when I start Elden Ring like it does in other games that don't have HDR already running.

I'm using an LG Ultragear 32GP850. I haven't messed with the game much since I'd rather just play at this point, but the settings seem kind of flaky so I doubt there's much anyone can do here other than wait for future patches.
