How to enable PS4 button display?

How do I enable the HUD/menu buttons for my PS4 controller? It defaults to Xbox.

I'll probably get flak for even saying it, and you're totally allowed your controller preferences. But imo if you're going to use a controller on PC just use an Xbox one, you'll know its gonna work perfectly.

You got any PS4 emulation software running? im getting playstation huds fine, turn off d4windows or what ever u might have installed.

I'm not running anything else.

First thing I tried, still getting xbox prompts.

with or without ps4 config support i get xbox buttons. :/
no ds4 windows

Right click game in library->properties->controller.

its set to playstation for me, yet still xbox buttons
glad to hear the button file is actually there tho, that will make modding these stupid xbox buttons out easier
