Anybody's controller work?

I've got the Turtle Beach Recon wired controller. No input responses at all. Making menu changes with mouse and keyboard... no escape or back to get out of the selection.

Nope. Can't get my Xbox Controller to work. Big Picture doesn't work either. Havn't tried cable yet. Checking the file integrity first

this is the step that worked for me:

Configure your Controller on Steam
Go to Steam > Settings > Controller > General controller settings > check the box for the controller you want to use. The options available are Xbox, PS4, Switch, and Generic. After you have checked your respective controller, try to launch the game and check if the controller is working. If Steam is not listing your controller, follow the next step.
