Need a HDR compatible monitor + GPU.

yeah I do, 3080ti and HDR 4k monitor, use HDR when I play stuff like Cyberpunk - so weird...when I load the game the monitor even says it's in Display Port (HDR) settings. But actual Elden Ring settings won't let me keep HDR on. I can toggle it to on but when I go back to settings it shows off again.

Sorry to bother everyone with my stupid problem and thanks for your help.

You have to be set the game to fullscreen to be able to enable hdr.

Yup, borderless seems not to work for some reason.

You’re correct that full screen is the only option available that allows you to toggle on HDR. If you run in border/border less the option is “greyed out”. What the original post is referring to, is the the option is available (not greyed out). It can be toggled on/off but nothing changes in game. When you go back into the settings the HDR is turned off again. I am running Windows 11, HDR is enabled in Windows, running a 3080 TI and a Samsung Neo G9 (HDR capable). HDR works flawlessly in most games I play.
