There is no "most powerful" but Vagabond is the most beginner friendly.

If you play the Wretch every single piece of gear you pick up will be an upgrade and a happy dopamine discovery from the start.

However, classes that start with magic and a shield are probably the most forgiving.

This guy is spot on, good armor, weapon, stats all around.

If it's like Dark Souls, they just determine your starting gear and starting stats.

They don't really matter after a very short amount of time (you're probaly gonna change your stats based on gear you want to wear or weapons/spells you want to use).

Just don't pick the naked guy if you don't want your first few days to be extra hard lol.

wretch is hard but is the best experience for the 1st time playing because everything new is cool and useful, also the challenge is only for the first 40 minutes, try it

Depends on your play style. Vagabond is a solid choice because of their good equipment and stat distribuition, which will make the early fights more forgiving. Astrologer works if you are confident that you'll be able to outmaneuver your enemies and kite them while destroying them with magic. You'll be a lot less durable though.

Gonna try Confessor.
Best class is defined by your personal playstyle

Short story from that video, Astrologer is the most newbie friendly class for one reason, you can make a ranged build that does great damage on mobs and even bosses so that you can bring them down before they even get into melee range
