yeah they had a disclaimer that said we can get those "later in the game"
and the adventure's guide is literally just gonna be a pdf thats gonna get leaked 2 seconds after release

Not exclusive, you can still earn it later in the game. The only difference is that people who preordered the game get the gesture right from the start.

While they are still downloading and installing the game you will be playing it.

but from what i read you still get it from playing with those who have pre-ordered, but if you get it from them you cannot spread it

stuff in the game usually looks mighty great too as it is. some interesting pieces in ds1-3
