Anyone know how the save system works? Is it the dreadful/outdated/console crippled/lazy programming save points system or manual save anywhere?

auto save after everything, no reloading after a mistake here.

This type of game can only work with autosave.

u cant save, its realtime. u go somewhere, hit alt f4, open the game and u are at the same place. just like every previous game

And save on quit.
No save scumming.

Ngl... I duped a lot of items using back-up saves in DS3 on PS4. Lol

That actually happened to people? Dunno about PC versions but on console I never heard of this. Also it's probably not a problem for offliners

OK thats good. I just don't like the save point crap. If I have to leave game I do not want to have to reach a special point for it to save. If it saves on exit and keeps place and progress, I am cool with that.|
What about if you die? Where does save start you at, I know you lose stuff, just curious if its an hour of retreading or what?

anyone know if this is local save only? Like if i start a game on my main pc, can i continue on my laptop when i travel for work?

It must save to a local file somewhere. Play offline, Back up that file yourself. Something happens, shut down the game and restore the backup file. Simple
