Completely different developer. From Soft has a really good track record, in recent years. CDPR dropped the ball with CP 2077.

Depends on who you talk to. The PTDE port was barebones, and some people needed to use a third party mod to get improved performance. For others, it worked just fine as is. People were salty that it was locked at 30FPS.
Remastered version doesn't have any glaring technical issues that I'm aware of, but some people complained about the lighting in some areas. It runs much, much better than the PTDE, without needing mods.
