Plus your first playthrough should be for testing different spells/weapons and wretch is the best class for that. Min/maxing is for subsequent playthroughs when you know what build you like.
Id rather progress and find those sets in the map, and then pick the other classes when i want to commit to a specific build
You have to directly identify with the character.
So I'm playing the wretch.
and possible early game cost which i need to see if wretch is cheaper or not to level up.
