It's lower by a simple objective measure when comparing 60 to any higher number. Lower is not necessarily worse. I still lock some games to 30fps because motion perception through still frame animation is often entirely within the aesthetic domain.

People want to reinforce their consumer sensibilities by believing that content must be created to support the features and/or gimmicks that result from their consumer decisions.

Almost every reason people might use to argue that resolution and framerate are obligations is little more than a reason to laugh.

I don't trust any in-game framerate cap by a developer like fromsoft to be any good. If at all possible I'll unlock FPS with a mod and put 60 cap from RTSS and maybe use scanline sync depending on how well the game runs for me.

I thought 60 was the best universal frame-rate for most media.

It‘s just sad that you can‘t fully utilize the hardware you got.

My GPU pulls just over 400w, if I had that cut in half to have a worse gaming experience I'd save $1 over 24h and thats with hydro above what I pay at .2 a KW/h. We are talking about people that spend $1000+++ on a GPU so a few buck isn't going to hurt us.

Yes, when you pay for expensive equipment you dont want it sitting there idle, why the hell wouldn't you want to get the most out of it?

Someone already made an fps unlocker.
Already works pretty well, aside from the game being pretty CPU limited in the open world.
Just make sure to not go online while using it.

The game runs very poor on my rig with 3080 rtx, even with 1080p lol. Apart from performance, in overall the game have embarrassing PC port. It is first time when i do refund of the game.

nothing is wrong with 60fps. 60 is fine. Its just that 144hz is better. Same with ultra wide. 16:9 is fine but 21:9 is better.
