Hey Guys. So I pre ordered the game...my question is when can you download it in release day or maybe a bit earlier so you can start right away when its released. and if so when excatly does the download-phase start. 1 Day before release or before that?

same here mate pre-order it as well a week ago or so

as far as i understand and try to find any info pre load only available via xbox consoles

but not for pc and ps5

and for pc its only then it was being unloced via steam at certain time which is official release date

There were no official statements about this, a Reddit user found out about the start date of Elden Ring preload Sunlight-hell who contacted support Bandai Namco and got the following response:

Hello Dmitry. Thank you for contacting us. I am writing to you regarding your question regarding the delivery of the Elden Ring Steam key. First, thank you very much for your interest in Elden Ring! When purchasing the standard and deluxe editions from our store, the game key will be delivered via the store’s order confirmation page 48 hours before release. Customers will then be able to redeem the code on Steam (after 02/23/2022 2:00 AM ET) and start preloading the game to start playing as soon as possible on launch day.

Elden Ring is an open-world fantasy action-RPG set in the Interearth, where the hero has to find the fragments of the destroyed ring and put them back together.

Elden Ring releases February 25 on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.

there is one source for this, its was a post on reddit from a chat with support saying it would be out 48 hours before, if that post was correct, then it will be out two days before, with time zones and it being unlikely to be setup like the release you might get 12 to 60 hours to preload
