this will be my 1st ever fromsoft game. please post your tips and tricks (spoiler free) for us noobs. thank you 🙏

Watch videos lots of cool RPG stuff that will really help, use stealth to ur advantage whenever u can, try not to fight more than one enemy at a time (which may be a little different in the actual open world, probably can just run in on a horse or something), and lastly dying is normal and remember that hesitation is defeat brethren

I have to re-iterate this one as it is very important. I cannot tell you how often I have got myself killed because the boss I was fighting had a sliver of health and I figured I could finish it by going all-out and getting myself killed because of it.

Learn for dying, it's not failure, it's a learning experience. Even if you die 20x to a boss don't get frustrated, either keep learning it's pattern or come back to it.

biggest mistake is low hp in any build and souls games always have spot for best grinding spots in game for now best place is 100k souls in min if you are not lazy grind lot more stronger you will become

never buy weapons and armor from merchants. This is a waste of souls, because the best weapons will either drop from bosses or are in hard-to-reach caches. Or buy it, for fun or collection.

Use the ball exploit to make the game more reasonably difficult. You just let it fall off the cliff for an easy 2k exp. Get health to +25 so every attack doesn't one-shot you.

Don't let enemies kill you

Don't hoard souls. Don't do the highest risk stuff (exploring new zones, testing minibosses, etc) when you're loaded up on souls. Instead, spend them on a level up, buying items, or whatever.
