Then the second Chariot coming from the other side was good pressure into the Basilisk pit, though the previous games have trained me with one notion on falls; never fall without attacking (free dmg should anything be there), and follow up with a quick 360 look while prepping as heavy (to push an enemy back since you can lock-on trace into them).
After that I figured they just handed the wheel back to whoever made Sen's Fortress lol; so many traps and "not quite simple" enemies.
Did like the mixup though as unironically some of the better dungeons are the Roller ones since they have so much additional "ambiance" that had to be baked in to fit the thing lol.
It's truly a terrifically designed funhouse of horrors. And ofc, once you get far enough, thankfully, you can avoid the pit entirely!
I guess I'm using the wrong word. I'm talking about hitstun, not the position for riposte.
oh that, yeah you can't hitstun/flinch them.
Don't sell yourself short; destroying the chariots here is actually more in your face than the way to destroy them in the first grave.
Assuming that you already know that you can attack the fire breathing towers, you're gonna do that in this dungeon just because. It may not be immediately obvious what the effects are, but I think you'd end up putting two and two together. Or you'd solve it without knowing what the hell you did XD
LMAO, I'm so happy I spammed the open button when I ran to it, instead of leaving. Cause I was like nooo ♥♥♥♥ this dungeon *spam controller* "Oh, how bout that"
oh and those rewards were juicy af.
did them both without parrying, aow, spirit ashes and with a regular halbert.
really fun fight
lmaooooo that's great! Classic souls anecdote
Kinda like how I'm pretty sure there's a jar npc that can pop up in this one dungeon but for some reason, it's not in mine, but saw him in someone else's XD
With the crucible knights they move at the exact same speed and never separate meaning the fights a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ slog where almost no openings exist this problem is only compounded by using a colossal weapon.
I think I've been spoiled, cleaning out older dungeons. But now coming back to this with fresh eyes, it does feel exciting (even though my physical damage output is too weak, and my weapon is too slow to safely get in hits with the two of them). I can't wait to see what rewards I get!!
