Coop mechanic was always tied to both balance and to a direct objective.
It was never intended for loitering around and do full runs.
Advantages of this system is to make coop simple and self contained for everyone to experiment and benefit from it in a seamless way.
But one day a private server will arise. So enjoy the cries, because one day you'll be alone to speak about that. And don't expect ppl to come back just for ppl like you.
I think playing this game with a friend in Discord constantly etc ultimatley takes more away from the experience than it adds. Opinion only. But directly tied in with my post thoughts
There are so many of those types though in ER. Waiting at the next grace sight to be called back by their friends and then rinse and repeat for the rest of the game. What a horrible way to kill an experience like Elden Ring.
You can say whatever you want from your loony bin, it doesnt really matter.
By your logic ER advertises Online PvP therefore its a PvP game.
By your logic ER advertises Single Player therefore it's a SP game.
They are called FEATURES, it doesnt mean the game is designed for proper coop.. or it would be persistent.
