Fort Faroth in Dragon's Barrow What gives?
Uh, are the enemies in here supposed to be one shotting you at level 100? It seems a bit unreasonable to me to think that 40 vigor isn't enough to survive a harpy grab. Feels a bit... ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ if I'm honest.

When I was there I got vigor at about 25ish und was not oneshotted (but two shottet hehe). I think you can escape that grab by button mashing - at least it seemed to work for me, since I got released before iI was killed. Maybe try that.
If that does not help, try luring them out of the fort one by one (use a throable or something while they're not yet aggro and run back to the entrance), there they get more managable. Hope that helps.

You're gonna want at least 50 vigor, things hit hard, and grabs especially do alot of damage.

Fort Faroth is some kind of bad joke, since the only relevant loot is Dectus medalliion (right)

Which will give access to an area with way lower suggested level.

Your best bet is still to go through Magma Wyrm caves, to get to Altus Plateau.

Yes, their grab attacks are strong there, button mashing is mandatory.

But you don't need to clear that fort out, all you need is a distraction and you can run past all the enemies. Get half of the medallion and sorceal and that's it for the fort.

Except of course it's where Radagon's scarseal is, the most highly coveted low level item in the game? >.<

Dragon's Barrow is insanely high level area that is miles above rest of Caelid that connects to it. I was happily killing those big dogs in Caelid, having fun skewring their big heads when staggered only to cross over to Dragon's Barrow and noticing that while I could stagger them the same way their health barely moved when landing my critical attack. And then I missed my block and lost over 1/2 of my HP in a single hit :)

Just do a quick suicide run, i basically ran around and got all the loot there only fighting a couple knights up top cuz i fancied it.

That's Caelid for you, hits as hard if not harder than the last area of the game

U can get it by just running through. No fighting

But I get what u want to say

I blitz through that area at level 90s but I did have 50 vigor and power stancing two curved swords. You might need to use a summom that's fully upgraded if it's that bad

Rotten Breath incantation works very well on the harpies. They're in a confined space and the AOE kills them like cockroaches.

I had the same experience, except I was trying to fight the erdtree avatar over there with me barely scratching its health while it could two-shot me. The dragon on the bridge nearby was actually easy by comparison.

Caelid is just very unbalanced.
