its literally better while using a str weapon to just meet the requirements to use it 2handed and infuse Keen and pump dex and you'll get almost 100 more AR. Keen is only beaten by Quality, even with weapons that have S scaling in DEX, Quality will have more scaling by almost 100 AR (nice trend)

yes, even for the Giant-Crusher. STR builds got totally boned in this game, slowest movsets and lowest damage KEKW

Hah! Too late, my crushing indecision on my 1st, 2nd, and 3rd runs in a souls game will inevitably do that for me when I go for 60/20-22 STR/DEX instead of settling for 50/16-18.

Well kinda the same. I explored a ton in this game, and did not rush it so I personally rocketed past the low level meta anyway a bit. No complaints here personally, it's just the entire 'split the community up' ignorance that will inevitably cause such a rift that you often will not get the co op help you may need in pve that is one of the underlined inevitable 'huge' issues doing this will bring to the table.
It's not even my issue, it's all of your issue, and it's ok that none of you seem to get that.

They are incorrect. Dex only increases cast speed (and potentially only for certain spells; I have a feeling some incantations may be working weirdly given how they (don't) interact with Radagon's)

Earlier forum was talking about how the more 'massive' in requirement spells lacked effect on that exact note. I'd hunt that down if interested for sure. All I know about it myself.

this is totally false and quality is the worst affinity in the game currently because of base dmg loss.

also fire scales off str and many enemies are weak to fire

I feel you bro, I wanna have unga bunga STR build and the only decent STR weapon (Great Sword) was nerfed into the ground
idk why From decided to ♥♥♥♥ on STR players but the game is notisably harder w this build

Meh, the point of STR to me is getting to use stuff like greatshields. Even if keen had better scaling for STR weapons sinking 30+ levels into STR to "meet requirements" is not exactly something you get to do unless you plan to finish your build well into NG+.

If you find it, keep the boat anchor "great axe" in mind for if you ever come across something weak to pierce instead of resistant to it.

Well, unless the UI is lying about it being pierce damage.
