Offensive incantations kinda suck

The only decent offensive incantation I've used is lightning spear. The others just do too little damage for the FP cost. I respecced into STR / INT and even with only 18 INT, sorcery just overall seems a lot more effective.

yeah Faith has amazing spells to look at but they all mostly suck ass or have obnoxiously long casting times with zero poise

I think the Ancient Dragon Lightning spell is pretty good too, but only against very large enemies and bosses. Faith is at the moment meh or just ok when it comes to offensive spells, but amazing when it comes to buffs and support spells. A lot of them are very slow, so it would be nice if those gained poise or hyper armour while you're using them.

For sure, all the fun looking lightning spells leave you open to attack from even the zombie enemies an it stuns you if hit out of them, Lightning spear is fantastic atleast.

it has some great buffs too though.

Depends, while fire monks incantations are not that strong, godslayer, blood and the big erdtree stuff (elden stars and blackblade) are very potent.

cast from horseback whenever possible to negate casting time. You know you can charge a spell like a charged melee? And hold it ready for casting wile riding around for best target?

Are you sure you’re doing it right? Pest threads, wrath of gold, god slayer hp burn incant, swarm of flies, dragon breaths.

Oh ya and the frenzy stuff too. I think you need to look how your playing a faith caster.
